Our bi-annual food drives started in Live Oak Reserve in the Fall of 2011. It then expanded to a food drive in The Sanctuary in the Spring of 2016.

Both have become annual events in partnership with the Hagerty High School Spanish Honor Society.

In addition, the median price increased while overall sales decreased. A total of 1,982 homes were sold during the month, a tally that is 11% less than the 2,230 sales in the same month during 2022. The median price of an Orlando home sold in December 2023 was $367,250 which is a 4% increase compared to the same month last year. The limited number of homes available for sale in Orlando is still a challenge for buyers compared to the same month in 2022. The number of homes on the market increased by 23% compared to the last month there are 4% less properties available there are currently 7,838 homes listed for sale.

Calculating the value of solar panels on a resale home can be difficult. Comparable sales are sparse at best, so that’s rarely going to be a workable method. Our research didn’t turn up definitive standards aside from that. Let’s take a look at the situation, the factors involved, and methodologies to come to their value.   Homeowners, homebuyers, and real estate professionals are having a difficult time valuing solar panels on a resale home. This is due to the lack of sales data of comparable homes and wide variation in solar panel capacity and configurations. The Three Valuation Methods Appraisers and Realtors can value real property using one or more of the three different approaches: The sales comparison approach isn’t helpful. Only seven homes sold in the last six months in all of Orlando had paid-for solar panels. That is not enough data to come to an accurate market value. Nineteen more are on the market. It’s noteworthy that this represents 16 months of sales. Overall, there is less than 3 months of inventory on the market. We can conclude that homes with solar panels are not in a lot of demand.
